Valentine's Day

Well, it is purely coincidental for me to begin my blog on Valentine's Day. I wish I hadn't even noticed because it is my custom not to even acknowledge holidays like this one. Why do I need a certain day to celebrate my relationships with those I love? Can I not make every day a special day for my lover? It's my view most holidays are simply created by merchants and/or women in order to cause me to part company with a significant portion of my hard-earned cash. Bah humbug? Maybe.
