No way it's been over 3 years since I wrote in my blog!!! Well, here I sit on my boat where 3 years ago, I was painting the living room. A half-painted wall tells me life has been on fast-forward for the last 3 years! Time to catch up ...
Well, Happy Holidays to everyone! We had a relatively uneventful Christmas and we are all looking forward to a great 2011! I have some hefty plans for 2011 and foremost on my mind tonight is the Race Across the West (RAW). The RAW is a bike race from Oceanside, CA to Durango, CO. The RAW begins June 15th, 2011.
I was a rider in the 2008 Race Across America (RAAM); the world's toughest bike race from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD. This past June, I was part of a support crew for a 2-man RAW team.
In June of 2011, I'll be one of four riders in the 2011 RAW. I'm looking forward to it and hoping to use this blog as one of my motivators to get my daily training on track.
