We went to see our favorite band, Reckless Kelly, at The Glenn which is basically in our backyard. RK was playing as the backup band for Joe Ely. I was stunned from the moment Joe Ely took the stage - what an entertainer and what a privilege for us to see him with Reckless Kelly! I had no idea who Joe Ely was, but in my heart, I knew his greatness as he did his first song. He made me feel like being a man in Texas means you need to have a guitar in your hand! Thanks, Mr. Ely, for one of my life's most memorable nights!

Joe Ely: A Texas Giant
