Resistance is Futile

The LHT in the Texas hill country
It was a good three days at home.  The weather and my schedule finally cooperated allowing me to ride for the last three days.  I did some "resistance training" by riding the LHT to the boat Monday and then back home on Tuesday.  Today, I rode the road bike down River Road.

The LHT provides a pretty good workout.  I'm not sure how much it weighs -- it's easily double my road bike's weight.  Add to its weight its stunning aerodynamics and the rolling friction from its big fatty Aramdillo tires, and it is a chore to ride -- especially on the hills.

It felt good to ride the road bike today, but I still feel bad on the bike -- probably the combination of my lack of fitness, extra weight, and my current diet.  Hopefully, things will start feeling better soon.
