Waiting for TRR in Congress

It has been a whirlwind few days and I am behind in my updates. I will try to catch up soon, but for now, Claire just dropped me off at TS6 where I will rendezvous with Team Ride Red soon.

We finished RAW about 8 pm Friday night. We spent the night in Durango and after a good night's rest, headed towards Texas.  Claire, Tanner and I jumped out at ABQ while Danny & Shannon kept driving.  Tanner made it home through Dallas, and Claire and I flew to Phoenix, rented a car, and drove up to a hotel near Congress.

Time Station 6 in Congress is the best time station in RAAM.  Hosted by the Bullshifters Bike Club from PHX, their hospitality is legendary and greatly appreciated by all of the riders and crew who come through here.  They are perfectly situated at the end of the desert and at the beginning of an epic day of climbing starting with the Yarnell Grade.

Claire's on her way back to PHX to catch a flight to AUS and then drive home.  Fred and TRR are enroute from Palo Verde to pick me up here at Congress.  The girls are making good time and the next big team exchange will be somewhere beyond Congress.

More as I have time!
