Day 1 is in the bag, and it was a doozie. After a frantic assembly at the start line, Danny and I led the race out of Oceanside right behind the Legends of RAAM. We made it through the most complicated day of racing perfectly thanks to our awesome crew. Danny and I managed a very respectable average (20+ mph) which we were happy about.
Between the climbing in the mountains and the heat of the desert, we are all pooped and heading for Parker, AZ for some rest.
